SAW Wins ESL Challenger Katowice

On the evening of October 27, the matches of the ESL Challenger Katowice concluded, crowning the tournament’s champion.

Two teams from Group A advanced to the final: SAW defeated Monte in the semifinals (2:0), while B8 joined them after a 2:1 victory against paiN.

The best-of-three final kicked off with SAW securing a straightforward win on their opponent’s map pick (13:3 on Ancient), followed by a similarly decisive victory on their own pick (13:5 on Nuke).

For their triumph at ESL Challenger Katowice, the champions claimed not only $50,000 out of the total $100,000 prize pool but also earned a spot in ESL Pro League S21, which will be held in February-March 2025.
